Hi, my name’s Kedar (it rhymes with radar).
I have a bit of an eclectic background. I’m a writer, sommelier, and music producer.
Though disparate at first glance, success in those fields requires the same skill: the ability to read people and distill their interests into actionable terms.
Here are a few other reasons why my experience makes me a better copywriter:
I’ve spent years in fine dining restaurants managing exacting clientele. Reading people and intuiting what they want is what hospitality is all about.
I covered entertainment & culture for publications like Forbes, Document Journal, and Office Magazine. My finger? Directly on the cultural pulse.
I’m a sommelier at a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills. I understand people and their palates. I decipher what people want when they can’t decipher it themselves.
Also: If I can convince someone that a bottle of wine really is worth its $8,000 price tag, I can sell an idea in a pitch meeting.
I’m a conservatory-trained jazz pianist. So you can check off: “plays well with others.”
As a music producer, I identify the core message of a song and advise artists on how to market it to their target audience.
